Sela's CaSela Zebrano SE 004A cajon is made using modern production methods that guarantee excellent quality and sound. Its 15 mm-thick body is made of 11 plies of birch and is extremely robust. It has several features that enhance its sound and allow it to be adjusted. These include a sound hole at the back for prominent bass, individually adjustable clap corners and a replaceable playing surface. It comes with a Thin Splash playing surface that's comfortable to play and has a great sound and response.
The CaSela cajons also feature the versatile Sela Snare System. This has a standard snare head that can easily be attenuated for a more traditional Peruvian sound or it can be amplified by adding an additional snare head. It can even be removed entirely if you like.
